About Teacher
Linda Lonergan
I am so excited to be at Morse Pond School! Teaching here is a privilege! Everyone I have spoken to about Morse Pond always says, “What a great school!”. I have started asking, “Why is it such a great school?” The answer is always because there is a great spirit about the school and wonderful teachers. I felt that way about my other positions in Plymouth and DY. The teachers make the schools!
I have been teaching technology ever since I received my Master’s Degree from Lesley University. I taught technology to grades 7-8 at Sacred Heart using a 1:1 Pad environment and a lab with desktop commuters. I taught K-4 in Plymouth where I had a lab with desktop commuters, Chromebooks and iPads. I would teach on the various devices. My position also included coaching the teachers, which I so enjoyed. Last year in the DY District I was working as a Technology coach for the teachers. I loved what I was doing, but I missed teaching the students. On top of that, the 50 minute commute from Falmouth was not ideal. So, here I am in the town I love, teaching what I love, in a school that everyone says is great. Does it get any better? Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns by email or come to to see me after school with an appointment.
