*Community Forums:   Community Forums to discuss the vision for the future of Falmouth Public Schools are being held throughout the district.  All are welcome to attend.  More information can be found using this link:  https://www.falmouth.k12.ma.us/future


*October 14:  No School in observance of Indigenous Peoples Day


*Grade 8 Event at FHS open to Morse Pond:  

Falmouth High School invites next year’s Clipper Class of 2029 to our Activities, Athletics, and Electives Fair on October 17 at 6:30 beginning in the auditorium.  Come see everything FHS has to offer and meet with current Clippers during this open house event.  All current eighth graders who attend will receive a FREE ticket to Friday’s Homecoming football game!  Morse Pond students are also welcome to visit the fair and learn about the high school.  

*Homecoming at Falmouth High School:  Come cheer on the Clipper football team at 6:00 on October 18 for the annual Homecoming game.  Morse Pond students are eligible for a free ticket to the game.  

Staff and students at Morse Pond are invited to join in the spirit for Homecoming next week (10/15 - 10/18).  Each day has a spirit theme that matches the high school.  All are welcome to participate!

Tuesday - Jersey Day (favorite sport or athletic team) 

Wednesday - Neon Day 

Thursday - Hawaiian/Beach Day 

Friday - Class Color Day - homerooms can choose their featured color.  Your child’s teacher will let you know what color to wear to show their team spirit.  

 

*Parent-Teacher Conferences:  During the early release day on December 10, you will have the opportunity to have a conference with your child’s teacher.  Teachers have sent, or will be sending, sign-up documents to you.  You can also email your child’s teacher to schedule a conference.

*Pajama Day:  Students were able to reach our participation goal for the Boosterthon and earned a Pajama Day!  Students are invited to wear pajamas to school on October 23.

We have 2 events happening soon that need volunteer help!

#1    2024 Cape Cod Marathon 10/13/2024

Volunteer Signup Instructions:

 The job to volunteer under is:

Marathon Gear Check - Morse Pond PTO 

SHIFT 1 - 6:00AM-8:00AM

SHIFT 2 - 10:00AM-2:00PM

The volunteers can register for either the 6:00am - 8:00am shift or the 10:00am - 2:00pm shift. There are 5 slots for each shift.

- Click to accept the terms of the Waiver and enter name in space provided

#2   MONSTER BLAST DANCE on Friday, Oct. 18th 5:30-7:30

This is our first PTO family fun event, but we need YOUR help! We have many ways that you can contribute:  

  • Donate a raffle prize (email [email protected] with info)

  • Donate your time during the event selling concessions or manning one of the stations

  • Help decorate and set-up before the event

  • Help clean up and break down after the event

  • Bake/donate a treat for the bake sale
